One word, “experimentation”. The only way to increase adsense income is to fiddle with your template. Basically, what you need to do is see what your currently earning and tweak everything on your blog. There is a little more than that, but this is what will increase your income when everything else is in place. If this is a little cryptic, I will try and clear everything up. I will give you the answers to a few questions you should be answering yourself.

How much content do you have?
This is a major problem with many adsense income sites I see. Many people think they can create a site and make money. Many bloggers go into this state of mind that they can make money from a handful of pages on there site. News Flash: You will never make any real money with a handful of articles on your site. If you landed on a site for some kind of info your researching, you will be turned off by the fact that you’ve read all the pages in 5 minutes.

Remember, many people on the internent scan so 10 pages of content can be read in 20 minutes and shorter for most. This leads me to the point I want to make about return visitors. These visitors that come back again and again, are the basis of all income. They love to read content and they like it to be updated. If you write more content and increase the number of pages on your site, you will increase traffic and revenue. This goes beyond traffic because you will be creating an authority site that will give you a more legitimate look. Since many people are afraid of links leading to viruses, this will ease them into trusting you and the adsense on your site.

What is the quality of your content?
This continues from the amount of content on your site. If your site has low quality content, you will have the “x” clicked on your visitors internet explorer. If you have content that is of low quality, contains bad grammar, and incorrect information, you will lose the trust of your readers and lose money. People will not take the chance to click on links on a site they think is suspicious.

Who is your audience?
This is another problem people don’t realize. I’ll give you an example of this problem because you have probably seen this before. My partner/brother, created a blog about, “brain theory”. He is not a professional blogger and he has no SEO or keyword research skills but he still wanted to create it and hope for an audience. Needless to say, he had many problems but still got a little traffic. This traffic was not converting. Now, I understand that a few visitors will not give you any money but he was not getting any money at all. When he investigated his ads, they where so off topic, they wouldn’t get any clicks ever! Some of the links were for blogging because his title had the word blog in it since his site was a blog. It was just a description but it affected almost all the ads.

To fix this problem there are a few things that can be done. First, you can fix the words you write. Make sure ONLY the main key words you want in your ads are in your title tags. This will help when google bot scans your content for relevancy. To go one step further, you can add tags in your template that will direct the bots to the content you want them to scan. This way, you can close your body content in these tags which will change the ads by only focusing the bots on your keyword rich (and correct) content.

This is not everything there is to know about increasing adsense income but it is a start. Ask yourself these questions and see if you can add more. One strategy of generating traffic to a website is to submit it to as many search engines as possible. Basically, what you are doing is telling the search engine that you exist. Sadly, the only real search engines that matter add up to about 3; however the other search engines do count for a few percent of the rest of the searches which is still thousands, if not, millions of searches. I am going to tell you exactly how to do this, what sites you can do this with, why you should do it, and then I’m going to stomp on every word with my personal experience.

What you want to do is just type in the phrase, ‘ “submit your URL” free search engine ‘.Everything in between the ‘ mark is what you should type in. What this is going to do is bring up all the sites with the exact phrase “submit your URL” with the words search engine in there too. This is important because if you don’t place the words “search engine” in there, you will other submission services.

You are probably looking for some kind of service that will blast your website link to 500 other search engines for free right? This is not a good idea for many reasons. Firstly, when I tried services like that once a little while back, I had the unfortunate problem of doing things before I researched them and I got bad results. I was receiving emails from all kinds of useless sites beginning me to pay for a search engines submission service. Basically, the traffic you get from search engines are not so great. Many people think that if they submit their websites to search engines, they will get more links to their sites and Google will find them and index them. This may be true; but, there are better methods of doing this.

So, I know you were looking for a way to submit your website to a whole list of useless sites, but I think I just did you a huge favor by telling you my mistake. Please, if you want your website to appear on a search engine, be patient and let Google find you on there own. The best advice I can give you is go to wordtracker.com, find great key words, and optimize your website for unused niche key phrases that are much more targeted.

I have been talking about blogging for a long time. I think it’s time for a change. I want to go in an entirely different direction because I want to help everyone who reads this blog to become better rounded.

Being well rounded will help in all marketing efforts to increase profits. If you can blog, you earn advertising money right? If you create your own product, you will have a whole list of loyal readers that will also see that you created a product and be more likely to buy it.

The reason the loyal readers will always buy is because they value the information you give them on a daily or weekly basis. This will be one of the things that build their trust in you and in your product. To really help boost sales, you just have to make a couple of posts describing the product and send your readers to your buy page or your sales page.

If you are starting from scratch, you will have to worry a little bit more because you have to decide what you want to focus your product around. To do this, you have to search the net for any topic you are really interested in. See if there are people who are also interested in the same topic and find a problem they could have. To help you with this part, just go to forums and blogs and see if people are asking questions that you can answer in a book of some kind.

The book does not even have to be long. It can be as little as 20 pages or as much as 300. The basic reason for the book is to answer every question the people interested in your niche are asking. You have to solve the problems of the people. If people have acne, give them a home made recipe of crazy herbs to make them vanish. If they smell, give them some kind instructions to create a magic potion that will take care of that stench.

The rest of the details are really up to you to figure out. Since you found the answers to these questions, you know who to sell to right? The people asking the questions are the people who need your book. If you make it into a PDF file, you have an E-book which costs nothing to create. You work once and it will pay back over and over again. Of course, you will have to prove to the person buying that your electronic piece of memory on their hardrive will help them. Unless you have a blog and loyal readers that tune in daily, you are a stranger and will stay a stranger so you must be very persuasive. This is where your sales page comes in.

So, if you really want to start making some real money on the internet, you mist become a marketing detective. Research is key at this point. I recommend that you look at other sources that are not on the web to fix peoples problems because if you place things from natural search engine findings, chances are everyone has seen that already.
